Wiring of drag chain cables

(1) The bending radius of the drag chain

Please ensure that the bending radius R of the drag chain is more than 7.5 times the outer diameter of the cable;

(2) Avoid wiring twisted cables

Please don't twist the cable when wiring in the drag chain;

Please place the cable horizontally/sag to eliminate twisting;

(3) Avoid excessive tension and fixation in the cable

If the cable wiring is tightened, the friction between the cable and the inner wall of the drag chain will cause the cable sheath to be scratched;

In addition, if the cable is fixed or tied up in the drag chain, the absorption and dispersion of the bending stress of the cable will be hindered, so that the force is concentrated on the fixed part. Therefore, when wiring, make sure that the cable is not taut, and only fix the inactive parts at both ends of the drag chain when fixing.

(4) Precautions for cable interference prevention and mixed wiring

In order to avoid interference between cables, please choose to arrange the cables horizontally in a horizontally wide drag chain that can ensure sufficient spacing. Placing partitions can effectively prevent interference, but the distance between cables and partitions should be at least 2mm. Avoid wiring without using partitions and laying multiple layers of cables. Please control the filling factor of the cable below 60% (below 30% is more reasonable).
