1*2*24AWG+1*2*22AWG DeviceNet Bus PUR Cable Flex-Net Cable

DeviceNet Bus PUR Cable is a low-cost communication bus used in industrial settings. It connects various industrial devices such as limit switches, photoelectric sensors, valves, motor starters, process sensors, barcode readers, variable frequency drives, panel displays, and operator interfaces to a network, thereby eliminating the need for expensive hardwiring costs.

The direct interconnectivity it provides enhances communication between devices and offers significant device-level diagnostic capabilities, which are difficult to achieve through hardwired I/O interfaces.

Benefits of DeviceNet Bus PUR Cable:

Enhanced Design Flexibility:

  • Provides unlimited I/O ports by enabling network data flow capabilities.

  • Offers interoperability and plug-and-play capabilities.

Improved Process Data Management:

  • Provides peer-to-peer or master/slave management.

  • Enhances throughput and repeatability as a result of rapid response processing elements.

  • Includes implicit diagnostic information in position scaling, pre-event, and alarm notifications.

  • Extends intervals between scheduled maintenance through diagnostics.

Reduced Installation Costs:

  • Simplifies wiring, avoids potential error points, reduces required documentation, saves labor resources, and conserves installation space.

DeviceNet Bus Cable Specifications: DeviceNet bus cables are available in two specifications:

  • Thick Cable: 1x2xAWG18 + 1x2xAWG15

  • Thin Cable: 1x2xAWG24 + 1x2xAWG22

Applications: Suitable for ROCKWELL DeviceNet field bus systems, connecting industrial devices such as variable frequency drives, PLCs, and switches. Ideal for indoor and outdoor installation in cable trays or conduit.

Features:

  • Overall tin-plated copper wire shielding prevents external high-frequency electromagnetic interference.

  • Consists of 2 pairs of cables: one pair for signal transmission and another for power supply.

  • Overall aluminum foil plus tin-plated copper wire braided shielding provides excellent electromagnetic interference resistance. PVC sheath offers flame retardant and oil-resistant properties, while PUR sheath provides excellent mechanical resistance, abrasion resistance, and oil resistance, suitable for harsh environments.
